London Tasting Compares Hawkes Bay Reds with top Bordeauxs

We are very happy to announce that the profile of Hawke’s Bay wine is quickly growing. At a recent blind tasting of 12 wines from Bordeaux and Hawke’s Bay in London Hawke’s Bay scored 2 of the top 6 wines. The tasting panel included some of London’s finest palates such as Jancis Robinson, Michael Schuster and Oz Clarke, along with buyers from the likes of Waitrose, the Wine Society and Berry Bros & Rudd.

For us at Decibel Wines this is exciting not only because the winemaking, viticulture and terroir is now amongst the best in the world, but also the wine comes at a fraction of the price. The time is now for Hawke’s Bay wine. And the rest of the world is starting to catch on to it.
